Soundwave 2012 lineup fulfilling all expectations

The lineup is here people!

After the much debated Soundwave Revolution Tour- planned to have hit Australia late September 2011- had reportedly been cancelled, Soundwave Touring release the much awaited lineup for next year's Soundwave Festival.

We heard that a lot of the bands, that had been on the SW Revolution bill would be appearing on the upcoming Soundwave stages across Australia, but with today's press release about the lineup, this statement was set in concrete. However, it's not only gonna be bands from SW Revolution which will appear in Australia with a few months delay, but another few major names have been added to the lineup, such as main headliners System Of A Down, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and 'shock rocker' Marilyn Manson.

Contrary to previous years and the failed SW Revolution planning, venues across Australia have already been confirmed and dates are set, leaving no surprises to keen ticket buyers. With tens of bands from the planned SW Revolution Tour already having played Aussie stages within the last month or so under the banner of Counter Revolution, more spots have opened up for new faces amongst the lineup, and taking a look at the current lineup, I have to say that it looks even more promising than it did before!

Even though bands like Van Halen and Danzig are no longer included in the upcoming tour, there is very little doubt that next year's bands are promising a very hard, metal and exciting lineup! Dates and venues are:
