Four years in the making, comes Blind Guardian’s latest effort, At The Edge Of Time. Once again, with focus on the bright sound of their signature orchestral compositions, At The Edge Of Time is the ninth studio album from the power metal troupe, which saw its release in 2010 through Nuclear Blast, and is the follow-up to their 2006 full-length, A Twist in the Myth.

With every release, we want to define ourselves on a new level," commented vocalist Hansi Kürsch.

After all the worlds Blind Guardian has taken its audience to since their 1988 debut album Battalions of Fear, few would believe there are still new lands to discover in their music.

At The Edge Of Time is an album that frees us all from the concept of “terra firma” and carries us into the dimension of time, where imagination knows no limits, where all worlds exist at once, and where all existence is drenched in song for all time.

On their forthcoming Australian tour, Blind Guardian is set to perform tracks taken off their latest release, as well as fan favourites spanning their rich back catalogue form their 80’s inception to now! Additionally, Australian power metallers Black Majesty, and prog. metal outfit Eyefear – who are coincidentally marking their new album release – will be taken in tow on the tour run.

If you missed them last time around, DO NOT miss them this time; you may just miss your last opportunity to see Blind Guardian in Australia!
