Counter Revolution Line-Up and Updates

Since the cancellation of Soundwave Revolution [and we’re still sad], the announcement of what has been dubbed as its Counter Revolution has come to light, featuring a number of artists from the former event, who will now be playing the mini-festivals during September and October.

The following line-up will be touring Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, with announcements for both Perth and Sydney due to come out later this week.

In other news, last night saw American rock outfit The Used post a message via the band's official Facebook page, stating that they will not be touring Australia this year – as originally planned for the festival – but that they will be returning to our shores next year with their new album. 

Commented the band:

“We are very sad to say we will not be coming to Australia this year. Soundwave Revolution has been canceled as many of you know already. We promise we will come next year with a new album! Thank you to all our fans for your support. Love, The Used"
