The Devil Wears Prada Announces Australian Tour

American metallers The Devil Wears Prada have announced their return to Australia this October, in support of their forthcoming new album, Dead Throne.

The six-piece will be touring our shores on a run of seven dates with fellow US metalcore outfit We Came As Romans and Melbourne-based quintet Dream On, Dreamer.

Following their recent worldwide deal with Roadrunner Records [excluding North Amercia], this September will see the release of The Devil Wears Prada’s fourth studio album, Dead Throne, through Ferret and Roadrunner Records.

Recorded with producer Adam Dutkiewicz [Killswitch Engage], the new album comes as the follow-up to the band’s 2009 full-length release, With Roots Above and Branches Below, and the 2010 EP release, ‘Zombie EP’.

Commented vocalist Mike Hranica:

"The new record contains the heavy aspects of the Zombie EP, meshed with the melody of the full lengths. ‘Born To Lose’ [the first song to be released from the new album] captures some of those elements and serves as a comprehensive preview to the album. By all means I'd call it our most emotional, well-written album to date."
