Former Warrant Front-man Jani Lane Found Dead

Jani Lane, who previously fronted American glam-metal outfit Warrant, was found dead at a Comfort Inn in Woodland Hills, California, yesterday evening, August 11th, he was 47.

At the time of posting, no official cause of death has been revealed.

Jani Lane was behind some of Warrant’s most renowned songs, including ‘Cherry Pie’ and ‘Heaven’, having first joined the outfit in 1986, before leaving and re-joining the band on numerous occasions. His most recent reunion with Warrant was in 2008, but one that lasted only a few months, as Lane once again disbanded with the band to pursue a solo career.
