NORSE Video Interview

The Metal Matt Show recently spoke with guitarist and vocalist Treelo Herrington of Southern Highlands-based extreme metal outfit NORSE.

In the interview, Herrington spoke about the inception of the band, their 2010 debut album Hellstorm, and its follow-up, the forthcoming and as-yet-untitled sophomore release, which is coming together as a darker and less thrash driven effort than that of its predecessor. 

Currently in the studio with engineer Harvey O’Sullivan, NORSE is recording its second full-length album, which is tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of this year. With the recent departure of bass guitarist Kendall Drury, NORSE stands as a two-piece outfit, featuring founding members Treelo Herrington and drummer Robin 'Frog' Stone [The Amenta], who are joined by session and live rhythm guitarist Shayne Querruel.
