Amon Amarth Release New Video

Swedish melodic death metallers Amon Amarth have released their latest video for the track ‘Destroyer of the Universe’, taken off the band's latest studio album Surtur Rising, released in March of 2011 through Metal Blade. 

Highlighting live Amon Amarth footage, the new video, which premiered exclusively on BlankTV, was lensed this May at the Theatre Of Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA with director David Brodsky of MyGoodEye [The Black Dahlia Murder, The Devin Townsend Project, Suicide Silence].

Surtur Rising, is the eighth studio offering from the death metal quintet, as is named in tribute to Surtur, leader of the fire giants of Muspelheim ["flame land"] and the oldest being in the nine worlds of Norse mythology.

Surtur Rising is the follow up to 2008's release, Twilight Of The Thunder God, and was recorded at Fascination Street Studios, Örebro, Sweden with Jens Bogren and features cover art by Tom Thiel.
