PRESS RELEASE - AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL LIBRARY

It's with great satisfaction that we would like to announce that VoltageMedia will be archived into the National Library of Australia. The Library will catalogue our publication and add the records to the National Bibliographic Database, a database of catalogue records shared by over 5,200 Australian libraries, as well as their own online catalogue system PANDORA.

You can view the official archive at: http://pandora.nla.gov.au/tep/122322

Chief Editor, Founder and Owner, Byron Carceller comments: "I was approached by the library roughly over a week ago about them seeking permission to archive our publication, soon as I saw the email request my life changed knowing that VoltageMedia will be joining Australian History.

VoltageMedia started out as a small publication with a team of only 4 to promote and make the general public aware of the many aspiring musicians and bands striving to achieve their set goals in the metal, hardcore and industrial scene. To date our team compromises of at least up to 20 contributing members.

We've all worked very hard to make what VoltageMedia it is today and I know I wouldn't have done it without my great team of contributing photographers, journalists and especially our News Editor Anna Denejkina."

News Editor, Anna Denejkina comments: "I was quite blown away by this news and that the hard work put into this publication received such acknowledgement.

The VoltageMedia team does this for the love of the music, and without the bands, promoters and the venues we regularly prowl this would not be a possibility.

Also; a vast thank you to Byron Carceller who has let my - at times - opinionated mind run wild, and has always supported me."
