Sienna Skies continue to have a massive year with their debut album – a best seller among MGM Distributions entire catalogue; signed an endorsement agreement with SJC Drums, Schecter Guitars and The Guitar Factory; and recently a support slot for Closure In Moscow on their Sydney dates!
Sienna Skies recently posted an update with regard to their new cover track, tour dates and new management from Outerloop Management! Keep reading for all details;
"Firstly, We just added our cover of Fireflies by Owl City to our Music Player! Be sure to check it out and leave us a comment with your thoughts! Also, Feel free to tell your friends to check it out.
"Secondly, we just added a number of tour dates to our page for over late August and September covering Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and a few places in between! We will be on tour with our friends The Bride and In Hearts Wake, plus playing a number of shows with U.S. band Oh Sleeper as well! Sienna Skies are a six-piece Experimental/Post Hardcore band from Sydney, Australia. Their debut album ‘Truest Of Colours’ clearly what Australian Hardcore fans have been waiting for if sales for the long player are any indication having made MGM’s top sellers list sitting alongside artists including John Butler Trio and The Waifs.
In 2007, the band released their first EP titled ‘Where Joy Exists Despair Beckons’ which saw the band tour quite consistently both in Australia and New Zealand which paved the way for them to become a support favourite to many Australian and international touring acts including Haste The Day (USA), Blessed By A Broken Heart (CAN), Family Force 5 (USA), Closure In Moscow, The Amity Affliction, The Getaway Plan, Behind Crimson Eyes, The Red Shore, Carpathian, Deez Nuts and Mourning Tide... just to name a few.
The full-length album ‘Truest of Colours’, which was released nationally on December 5th through New Justice Records, includes killer tracks "Heartquake", "Daylight Through The Nightlife" and "Sea Of Smiles" and is exciting hardcore fans globally.
