IMMINENT PSYCHOSIS Final Show
After 7 years in the live metal scene, Adelaide's Trash metallers IMMINENT PSYCHOSIS have confirmed that vocalist Leo will be leaving the band later this year, due to personal reasons.
The band commented;
"Imminent Psychosis have been playing Thash Metal around Australia since their first live show in 2003. Based in Adelaide, the band has played over 60 shows both local and intestate, have recorded two full-length albums, and appeared on seven compliation albums.
"We would wish to advise our fans that Leo will be leaving the band in April 2010, as he is relocating to Sweden for personal reasons. The band will continue, and look to audition new vocalists in the near future - email imminent_psychosis@hotmail.com if you are interested. It is unsure if we will continue under the same name, or start fresh."
There are two remaining shows left to see the band live: the first, Saturday March 13 @ Crown and Anchor Hotel, Grenfell St, Adelaide. Playing with local thrash titans Se Bon Ki Ra, and Dreadnaught (Vic) this is a free show and for those going to the Clipsal 500, just a short walk.
The final show will be on Aprill 17, at Enigma Bar (Hindley St, Adelaide). Coming over for the show will be DAWN OF RETRIBUTION (Vic), who will have their new album available. They have posted a song on their myspace page, check it out: www.myspace.com/dawnofretribution.
Also playing will be TRACE VAPOUR, a killer new metal band featuring ex-members of Divide Catalyst, Omnium and Diatribe. Third support will be announced soon, along with the flyer. Will be 18+, but the plan is to keep the doors as cheap as possible to get as many people through the door.
MERCH SALE:
Buy the album RUTHLESS for $5, including postage to anywhere in Australia. Throw in another $3 and IMMINENT PSYCHOSIS will also send their first album. This is arguably a bargain, but only available until April 17, so message the band through myspace to place your order.
