DEPRIVATION announce new member

Orange based metal band DEPRIVATION has today announced the departure of former bassist "Damien Harrison" sighting due to personal reasons. This comes as another bump along the road to them after losing guitarist "Brock Patton" in recent months.

Fortunately they've been lucky enough to pick up a new bassist pretty quick and if you've attended their recent shows you would know that "Orry Swann" has joined the line-up.

Here's an official statement from the band:

"It comes with great sadness that we have had to part ways with our brother/friend and fellow band member Damo, who has decided to move back to his home town of Newcastle.

Damo's last performance with us was at our shows in Orange and Canberra just a couple of weekends ago. For those of you who came and caught one of these shows you would have seen Damo giving it his all in true Deprivation style. We will post a statement from Damo very shortly, keep an eye out for him because he will never be too far away from the D crew.

We now have the pleasure to announce yet another Deprivation line-up change with the addition of our good friend Orry Swann as our new bass player. He is fitting in very well and had a great couple of first shows last weekend in Sydney and Newcastle.

He is playing his first hometown show at the Hotel Orange this Friday 6th November so come down, thrash out and make some noise for the new kid!

A huge thanks to you all for your ongoing support over the last 4 years.

Keep it metal and we'll do the same."
