Voltage Media is aiming to become a independent media publication in the Australian music industry. As part of many free services we are going to offer to the public one of our major features is building an online music directory that will contain information about bands, night clubs, venues, djs, promoters and more.

This website and music directory was specifically designed for the Australian alternative music industry as many followers felt that the types of genre which is currently available is not officially recognized by the Australian Music industry.

The genre's of alternative music which we are focusing on are: Black Metal, Death Metal, EBM, Electro, Experimental, Grindcore, Hardcore, Hardcore Punk, Heavy Metal, Industrial, Power Metal, Thrash Metal & Viking Metal.
